Cargo Palette. Tahiti.

Swatches are from the upper left corner colour, anticlockwise

Summer is still here - at least where I live - and to me it means it’s still time to use fun bright colours for makeup. I’m one of those girls who prefer using a ‘safe’ range of colours, like browns, champagne and beige eyeshadows, but sometimes, especially in the summer, I think it’s nice to step out of your comfort zone and use more colorful products. That’s the only product I own from CARGO, and I have to say I really like it.
I got this palette called TAHITI from Sephora a while ago, because I was really intrigued by these unique shades.
You get a lime colour, a nice emerald green, an electric blue and a warmer green eyeshadow.
They are all extremely pigmented and their payoff is really gorgeous. No fall outs, no powdery application. The texture is really nice, soft and almost velvety, and you can apply and blend them very easily. I use them without a base/primer and they last pretty well.
Another positive thing about this palette is the packaging.
First of all, the eyeshadow pans are very big, so you get a lot of product for a reasonable price – when I got it it retailed for 26 euros – and it comes with a full sized mirror in the inside lid.
I know Cargo makes a bunch of palettes like this one, with different colours, either bright shades or more neutral ones. So, I’m definitely planning to go and buy some more of this! (actually, I’m considering buying the ‘Essential Palette’ in ‘warm neutral’, a very basic one.)
